a wonderful stay

I enjoyed the hotel's grand atmosphere, it reminded me of the 70s or 80s! the staff were very friendly. the royal suite had three doors. It was very charming. i also loved the coconut juice at the rooftop bar and the passion fruit at the restaurant.
the shower curtain looked a bit cheap, and the tub design allowed water to spill easily onto the floor. it's a minor detail, but it stood out.

the hotel location was acceptable.
The front desk staff were unhelpful at check-in. i booked a specific room type, but they claimed it wasn't available upon arrival. plus, the noise from the street kept me awake most nights. The windows offered minimal soundproofing.

The breakfast was great with an extensive selection (I liked the local dishes). The staff remembered my coffee order after the first day. The rooftop lounge offered great views of the river. My room had a very large, comfortable bed.
The rooftop bar music was a little loud at times.

The pool area has about twenty loungers and a shaded section. The gym features three treadmills and two stationary bikes. There are several dining options, including a rooftop bar and a breakfast buffet.

poor soundproofingbland food
My stay had some hiccups. The soundproofing was atrocious. i could hear everything from the adjacent rooms and the conference room downstairs. it reminded me of a constant party was happening just outside my door. and don't get me started on breakfast. a vast array of food existed, but it tasted bland. it felt mass-produced without any real flavor.
